‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to dive into some fun spoilery goodies.
Things are heating up in Genoa City and some plans are going to backfire, but we have a feeling that’s according to plan. It’s going to be fun to see how everything works out, so let’s dive into some spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, February 2: Leaks sink ships
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) had what seemed like a solid plan in place to bring Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) back into the Newman fold, but thanks to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), that plan’s gone up in smoke.
Or has it?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers suspect this will be part of Victor’s plan, or so he’ll claim, to give him a chance to congratulate Adam on putting it all together and for Nick and him working together.
In his mind, it’ll prove that Adam belongs back at Newman Enterprises, and while Adam knows better, he may be tempted simply to dig into Nick some.
In the end, we doubt Adam will move, but the seed will be planted and anything could come from it.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, February 2: Chaos at Jabot
Jabot will be turning into Newman Enterprises for a short time as Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will confront Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) about his shenanigans with Victor.
We expect this to be a tough scene as there will be plenty of emotion as Jack will feel betrayed that Kyle would do this behind his back and Kyle may feel abandoned by Jack for bringing Adam into the company.
In the end, it’ll come down to whether Kyle will be able to work through his emotions and concerns like he did with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
We don’t doubt they’ll work through this, but given his current mindset, we can see Kyle growing frustrated and contemplate either starting his own company or maybe even heading to Newman Enterprises for a job.
We hope not, but this feels like the writers could be splitting up the Abbotts for the time being in hopes of shaking things up.
If nothing more, Victor could hire Kyle to try to instigate something with Adam and Jack, with the end goal to get Adam back into the family company whether he wants to or not.
In the end, things are going to get interesting between the two families and could bring back some fond memories of feuds gone by.
