Over the past few months, Triple H has had a chance to settle into his role as the leader of the creative direction within WWE. Even the shocking return of Vince McMahon did not change this, and his creative vision led to record numbers for the annual Royal Rumble PPV in January. It’s helped to boost backstage morale within WWE, with most talent enjoying working directly under Triple H, who most of them got their start with as part of the WWE NXT roster. One WWE legend who loves what Triple H has been doing is one of his greatest rivals, Dave Bautista.
Dave Bautista Thinks Triple H’s Dedication To WWE Is The Best Thing For The Company
While these days, Dave Bautista is spending his time working in Hollywood – he keeps tabs on what is happening in WWE. During a recent interview with ComicBook.com, Bautista would say that this was absolutely the right move to be made.
“I think this is the best thing for the company. It really is. It’s a personal thing with me because I know Triple H. I know how well he knows this business. I know how much he loves this business. As far as this business goes, he’s the smartest guy I’ve ever met in my life. He made me who I was. He was responsible for my career. I’ve never been ashamed to say that. I think that he is so dedicated to this product and just wants the best for it. I think he’s absolutely the right person. I’ve never met anyone else who thinks the way he does, as far as wrestling goes.”
Baustita Became A Star Thanks To Triple H
Bautista wrestled many of his biggest matches against Triple H, including winning the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 21, and his retirement match at WrestleMania 35. He has an incredible level of respect for Triple H, and the respect that Triple H has for the professional wrestling industry as a whole.
