In response to claims that she was being critical of Christina Aguilera when she was in an interview with BuzzFeed UK, Pink denied the accusations.

She had been talking about their “Lady Marmalade” music video, which led to speculation that she had made a slight dig at Aguilera.

It is suspected that the rivalry between the two vocalists began after they recorded the song in 2001 with Lil Kim and Mya, but each of them have asserted that there is no bad blood between them.

The celebrity was asked to rank her favorite twelve music videos during the interview and she instantly put Lady Marmalade at the very bottom.

In her comments, Pink had said: “Also- I kissed Xtina[‘]s mouth. I don’t need to kiss her a**.’ it wasn’t very fun to make. I’m all about fun, and it was, like, a lot of fuss, and there were some personalities. Kim and Mya were nice.”

This led to suggestions that Pink was shading Christina because she did not mention her when she was discussing those that were nice to her. But rather than this being the case, Pink came out to address any misconceptions that may have emerged.

She accused her critics of exaggerating things. Her following comments confirmed as much: “Y’all are nuts. Xtina had s*** to do with who was on that song.

“If you don’t know by now – I’m not ‘shading’ someone by telling it over and over and over what actually happened.” The fans on social media, though, were not convinced.

This was on the basis that Pink had not said anything positive of Christina. One person wrote: She was definitely making a dig towards Christina, as she said the other women were nice and even mentioned their names to make it obvious.”
