Soap Opera actor, Scott Clifton, who played the role of Liam Spencer on ‘Bold and the Beautiful’, recently shared an heartbreaking news with his fans. The actor shared that he and his wife, Nikki have decided to go their separate ways.
Clifton shared in a statement that: “My wife, Nikki, and I have decided to separate. Actually, we have been separated for some time now. She remains my best friend in the world, my partner in crime, and my closest confidant, and the decision has only deepened the love and respect we have for one another.”

He continued, “Our choice was born of a commitment to one another’s happiness and, above all, giving our son, Ford, the best life we can. We are grateful for everyone’s support and ask that you please respect our privacy as we navigate whatever the future may hold.” Scott Clifton and Nikki tied the knot in October 20, 2012. In 2022, the duo celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary.
The three-time Daytime Emmy winner took to Instagram to share a photo of them and captioned it with, “Ten years married—and we still don’t know what the hell we’re doing.” In December, he took to the social media platform to post a family holiday picture of them and their son Ford.
Clifton started his career with Daytime in 2003 as Dillon Quartermaine, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Paul Hornsby’s (Paul Satterfield; Richard Burgi) son. He then went on to play the role of Schuyler Joplin on One Life to Live.
After that ended, in 2010, he returned to the West Coast to take on the roke of B&B’s Liam. Scott Clifton is the only Daytime actor to have won awards in the categories of Outstanding Younger Leading Actor, Outstanding Supporting Actor, and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.
