Jen Boecher and Rishi Singh have a challenging beginning to their relationship, and it may not be the most suitable decision for Jen to move in with Rishi’s family presently.
’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Jen Boecher And Rishi Singh Have Major Issues-Here’s Why
Jen and Rishi first met during Jen’s trip to India and they immediately hit it off. After a few days, they got engaged but had to endure a long distance relationship for two years until Jen could go back to India.
Jen made a huge sacrifice by leaving behind everything in the US to settle down in Jaipur, India and tie the knot with Rishi. Rishi and Jen are facing multiple issues in their relationship, one of which is the fact that Rishi hasn’t informed his family about their engagement.
Moreover, Rishi’s mother is trying to find a suitable match for Rishi in the form of an arranged marriage, which is causing distress for Jen.
Although Rishi has promised Jen that he will only marry her, he hasn’t introduced her to his family yet. Rishi suggested that Jen could live with his family, but it may not be a suitable option for them currently.
Jen has no desire to become a traditional Indian housewife, a role that would be expected of her if she were to move in with Rishi’s family. Rishi currently resides in a joint household with his mother, brother, uncle, aunt, and cousin.
As the female members of the household are aging, Jen would be required to assume the responsibility of household chores if she decides to marry Rishi and move in with his family.
Jen’s Indian visa is about to expire, and she needs to marry Rishi before it happens to avoid being forced to leave the country. However, Rishi is reluctant to come clean to his family about their situation, despite the limited time they have.
If they manage to tie the knot before the visa expires, it would be advisable for Jen and Rishi to live apart from his family. With that being said, the couple have to consider their next steps very carefully.
And based on what we have seen so far, there are plenty of issues that they need to navigate before they decide to commit to anything long term.
So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
