‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers here and we’re set to kick off a new week with some weekly spoilery goodies to share.
This is going to be a fun week as the stage will be set for another drawn out storyline as Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) heals to make his eventual return. Let’s dig in!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Covering their bases
After discovering Nikolas’ body disappeared in a move that has left fans divided, Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) are going to start trying to figure out how to handle things.
Especially when Austin learns what really happened to Nikolas. Until then, Ava will instruct Austin to make sure nothing about Nikolas can be traced back to him or they’re both in trouble.
After that discussion, it looks like Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) will inform Austin he followed him to Spoon Island and that he took Nikolas’ body. He won’t mention that Nikolas is alive.
This will put him in a position of power over Austin and Ava, and he’ll issue some threats that won’t be too gentle.
While disappearing bodies aren’t anything new in soap operas, Nikolas disappearing is another check mark in the lazy writing category as yet another doctor was unable to figure out if someone had a pulse.
While having Nikolas alive should make the fans that were upset over the death of a legacy character feel better, it’s also expected to be another super drawn out storyline that many won’t like.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sonny offers help to deal with Mason
Once Ava learns about Mason’s involvement, she’ll go to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Most likely it’ll be just to share her concerns and help to brainstorm a way to handle things.
Sonny will offer his support anyway he can, including making Mason go away, which we expect Ava to decline as she prefers to handle things herself.
And that would be a wise move even if she doesn’t know it, but it will help bring out more of Austin and Mason’s family and what their true ties are.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers expect it’ll be a way of peeling back some of the layers of the past to bring back an old family, and it’ll only add more layers to the storylines going forward.
