Nothing like a new week and some fresh weekly spoilery goodies to get ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers stoked for what’s to come.
It looks like we’re largely out of the slow drama phase as the action’s going to be coming as Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be facing a new, powerful enemy. Without further ado, let’s dive in!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Brick’s warning
It looks like Sonny and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) will get out of their situation in large part to Sonny’s experience and guile and Dex’s history.
They’ll either fight their way free, or Sonny’s people will arrive and the sniper will have to take off. In the aftermath, Brick (Stephen A. Smith) will inform Sonny he’s got powerful enemies and that’s got us thinking.
It doesn’t make sense that Pikeman would be gunning for Sonny since he’s facilitating their business, though there is a chance Selina Wu (Lydia Look) this as she may have circumvented Sonny for their business.
Or she could be looking to take him out to open the gates. It wouldn’t be surprising since they’ve been at peace for a while now, and if there’s a chance for her to gain new territory she could do it.
It seems unlikely, so that would mean there’s another player and that’ll make things really interesting.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Taking care of it
Sonny’s family is going to be concerned about who’s after him and what it’s all about, but Kristina Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) will be more on edge than the others.
Their relationship has been a curious one lately as she’s one of his few children that haven’t turned on him, and that could be key going forward.
While she’s shown herself to be independent and strong since crossing paths with Dawn of Day, she still relies on her family to help guide and support her if needed.
To that end, she’ll be invested on who could be targeting Sonny, and it may lead her to start looking into things herself.
While she may not uncover the overall plot, there’s every chance she’ll learn Dex is working for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and that somehow their deal has been uncovered by Pikeman.
Pikeman could then be looking at Sonny as compromised and want to remove him and Dex from the equation.
On the other hand, she may discover this is nothing more than an overly intricate plot to test and eliminate Dex by Sonny and his people.
