When it comes to tag teams in professional wrestlers, there are few more iconic as Kevin Nash & Scott Hall. Being the men to start the nWo invasion – The Outsiders would lead WCW into an era where even the WWF had issues keeping up.
However, Hall tragically passed away in 2022 at the age of 62 – and could be the subject of an episode of Dark Side of the Ring season 4.
Kevin Nash Approached About Dark Side Of The Ring Episode About Scott Hall
On the latest episode of the Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash would reveal that ViceTV wants to have an episode about his longtime tag team partner, Scott Hall. Nash had the following to say.
“Dark Side of the Ring wants to do something and they want to involve me and they want to involve Sean Waltman. Cody (Hall) is going to be involved. What we want to do is to just tell people who Scott really fu–ing was. I just don’t think that the A&E perspective is ever going to cover the post-traumatic stress of Scott and the shooting that happened at the Dollhouse on Orange Avenue.
There’s a reason why so many of our fu–ing warriors come back from combat and they take their lives because they’ve taken a life. Scott’s thing was always, because he was so highly religious, that Scott would say, ‘But you don’t understand man. I’m not going to go to heaven. I’ve broken one of the ten commandments, Thou shall not kill. I’ve killed. I’m not going to go to heaven. My soul will be in limbo.’ I’m like, ‘No man. That’s not how it works. You can ask for forgiveness of your sins. If you’re going to play the game, you can’t read half the box. You can’t read half the box top. You have to read the whole fu–ing thing.’”
We have not had a formal announcement of Season 4 – though Jum Ross has announced he was involved with an episode surrounding The Junkyard Dog. Do you think Scott Hall’s story is a good fit for Dark Side of The Ring? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
