Over the past 20 years, few men have had a bigger impact in WWE than Brock Lesnar. From his explosive debut which saw him dethrone WWE Champion The Rock at Summerslam 2002, to his recent wars with Roman Reigns & Bobby Lashley – Lesnar has remained one of the biggest names in WWE. However, as he moves on with his career, some feel it’s time for him to start sharing the spotlight, and help to build some stars. One person who feels like this is one of Lesnar’s old rivals, Kurt Angle.
Kurt Angle Feels Like It’s Time For WWE To Use Brock Lesnar To Make New Stars
While speaking on The Kurt Angle show, Angle would be asked if it would be a good move for Lesnar to lose his upcoming match at WrestleMania 39. Many were confused to see Lesnar matched up with the newest giant of WWE in Omos, but Angle feels this is a chance for Lesnar to put over a new talent and make a star in the process.
“Well, I think it’s a great idea. You have to remember Brock is near the end of his career, and Omos is near the beginning of his career. Brock’s always been these main event matches with all the top guys. I think now he’s at the point in his career where he has to start giving back and not being at these top-level matches for World Championships but trying to build other talent, and I think it’s a great idea.”
It’d be hard to argue that beating Lesnar would make someone like Omos an instantly bigger deal. Lesnar has not taken many losses in his career, and the only men who have beaten him in recent memory are Roman Reigns & Bobby Lashley. Another man who has been angling for a match with Lesnar is GUNTHER. GUNTHER would be put to a main event level by defeating someone like Lesnar.
