‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
There’s a lot of emotion happening between former couples and beloved sons going full stupid to ruin special moments to go around, so we’re all set with the popcorn for this one.
Let’s get to some spoilers!
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Tuesday, April 25: Shawn’s an idiot
Honestly, there’s no way around asking where Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer)’s brain is.
He’s allegedly a trained police officer in the Salem police department, so we would think he’d be able to identify when someone has a gun pointed skyward and isn’t a threat versus pointing it at someone, and then there’s the reliable shouting a warning to drop the weapons, freeze, or whatever.
Shawn failed in all of those, and the excuse that Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) was holding a gun on Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) doesn’t fly since he had it pointed upwards seconds before Shawn shot him!
“Days of Our Lives” Spoilers can’t help but wonder if Shawn’s had his brain removed for scientific study since all of his training should’ve kicked in to stop his idiocy.
And then there’s Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) just standing there as Shawn shot Bo. At least he has a reason to allow Bo to get shot.
This is beyond lazy writing to create drama and we’re sure they’ll all forgive Shawn for nearly killing his dad cause a writer says so.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Tuesday, April 25: Squirming time
With all of that said, we’re owed some fun scenes and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) are going to supply it, granted it’s at their expense.
Since Sweet Bits’ tainted biscuits caused Johnny to propose and Chanel to accept, it’s going to be fun seeing them trying to find a way around Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart)’s questions.
Leo’s in the perfect town to get his fill of gossip, and this is going to be a juicy morsel for Lady Whistleblower and he’s not one to hold back when he smells a story.
If nothing else, this will provide some fun moments as Leo’s one liners will push Johnny and Chanel to lash out and throw some of their own barbs his way.
We may need extra popcorn for this scene as well as some gummies as Leo does his thing.
