‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers tease Phyllis’ dramatic return to town after framing Diane for her fake death, and after she unintentionally killed her partner in crime, Jeremy.

Phyllis returns home on Y&R. Summer will receive an anonymous call that takes her to Chancellor Park, and the caller turns out to be her mother. She will be very happy to see her mother.
Summer will suggest that they call Daniel and let him know that their mother is alive, but Phyllis would object, warning her daughter that the secret must stay between them.
A confused Summer will demand an explanation. It seems Phyllis will twist the facts in her favor and manipulate the story of everything that happened.
She will however tell her daughter that she killed Jeremy in self-defense. She will tell her daughter not to tell anyone about her survival and Summer will agree, even though she keeps it a secret.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Summer Keeps a Secret
Fans know that Summer is a very loyal person, and she is especially loyal to her mom. Y&R spoilers tell us that she will do everything in her power to save her mom from the police. Summer will not tell the cops about her mother even though she knows that she made a mistake.
This does not mean that Phyllis’ actions will not come with repercussions. She even revealed the truth to Summer, and not Daniel. But she must have a reason for doing that.
Perhaps, once they have a plan in place, she will bring Daniel into the loop. She and Summer may want to keep the secret from him until after they’ve strategized.
Summer may also keep her husband, Kyle in the dark about her mother’s fake death even though it could help clear his own mum’s name. It seems Phyllis won’t the only one to face the repercussion for keeping a secret as this will eventually affect Summer and Kyle’s marriage.
How will this go on ‘Young and the Restless’? Will Summer eventually tell Daniel and Kyle after feeling the weight is too much for her to carry? Or will she keep her mother’s secret safe as long as she has to?
