    WWE Smackdown Results 2023 WWE Draft Edition (4/28) – NXT’s Women’s Tag Champs Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn Drafted to Smackdown and Indi Hartwell to Raw; Undisputed Tag Team Championship – Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn (c) Defeated The Usos (Jimmy, Jey) by Pinfall to Retain

    WWE Smackdown Results returned as the OC came out. It’s good to see AJ Styles back with Gallows, Anderson, and Michin at his side.

    Styles was about to address the cheering fans, Valhalla and the Viking Raiders came out.

    Styles told them to hold on and asked if they came out to pick a fight, and when they said no Styles said they’re smarter than they look.

    But he had a solution and took a seat on the turnbuckle and told the OC to handle their business.

    The brawl was short lived as they cleared the ring and they hit a Magic Killer on Erick and afterwards Styles said they just got started.

    Styles then closed it out with a Phenomenal Forearm on Ivar.

    Round Four

    Shawn Michael and Road Dogg came out to announce the fourth round, and Michael announced Smackdown selecting Damage CTRL.

    Road Dogg announced Raw’s selection of Shinsuke Nakamura.

    Smackdown’s final choice of the night was NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn, and Raw closed it out with NXT Women’s Champion Indi Hartwell.

    Undisputed Tag Team Championship – Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn (c) vs. The Usos (Jimmy, Jey)

    The Usos attacked as the bell rang and took the fight to the floor as Jimmy slammed Zayn into the announce desk and ring post, then they double teamed Owens.

    In the ring, Owens blocked Jey’s superkick and went for a stunner, but Jey blocked it and hit a super kick and then Owens ate a double superkick for a near pinfall.

    Owens took a ton of punishment but he was able to tag in Zayn and he and Jey went back and forth with clotheslines, with Zayn sending him to the floor with one.

    He sent Jimmy out after him, then hit his own dive over the top rope.

    Zayn countered Jey’s attack on the top rope with a sunset flip powerbomb for a near pinfall, and the followed it with a Blue Thunder Bomb for another near pinfall.

    Owens tagged in and he went to work with a cannonball to Jimmy, and then fought off a superplex with a fisherman’s buster and then hit a swanton for a near pinfall.

    Backstage, Heyman got a call from Reigns and then told Solo tonight is his night and he headed out.

    Owens hit a stunner on Jimmy but Jimmy managed to kick out at two.

    Solo slowly made his way down the ramp but Riddle intercepted him and fought him into the backstage area.

    In the ring, Owens ate a pair of superkick and then a double one for another near pinfall.

    The Usos hit another double superkick on Owens, then Zayn and then on Owens but Owens kicked out yet again.

    Owens emphatically kicked out of another superkick, and ate yet one more before Zayn pulled Jey out of the ring and threw him into the ring steps to prevent a 1-D.

    Owens tagged in Zayn, then nailed Jimmy with a stunner and Zayn followed it with a Helluva Kick for the win.

    The Usos were dejected after the match and Solo looked even more irritated as he glared their way to close out the show.

    This was a pretty fun show with some fun favorites reappearing and the main event lived up to the hype.
