‘General Hospital’ (GH) is currently in a state of unrest due to the drama surrounding resident evil, Victor Cassadine’s pathogen plan, which will lead to a lot of deaths.
However, fans experienced a little breathe of fresh air during Friday, April 28 episode, when Anthony Montgomery returned to the soap opera as Dr. Andre Maddox.
Andre paid Anna a visit at the hospital and they discussed the news of Scott leaking the pathogen intel to WSB. Fans know that Anna will not sit back and stay out of the business, so she called in Andre to help her.
Andre will be offering his help alongside Holly and Jordan. He has the dossier he had gained access to during the similar Cassadine threat back in the 80s.

Andre and Anna will worry that if the hostages don’t get help soon, WSB may end up being a bigger threat than Victor to them. They feel that WSB may not be so invested in saving Victor’s victims.
They will also think that blowing up a a number of people as collateral damage to stop a bigger damage from happening would be justified.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers tell us that Holly will use the findings from Andre’s dossier to make a plan to assist Team Port Charles in Greenland, and the hostages will be rescued.
This storyline will however, be a bittersweet one as Andre Maddox will be leaving just as hostages will be having a sweet reunion with their family.
The role interpreter for Andre, Actor Anthony Montgomery revealed via Twitter that his stint on General Hospital has come to an end. The actor shared a photo from the studio, stating that Dr. Maddox appeared on the show on Friday. He also said that he always loves being back in Port Charles with his ‘General Hospital’ family.
He concluded with “Until next time!” Fans of ‘General Hospital’ trooped to his Twitter page asking him not to leave the soap. Hopefully, the actor will come back in future and stay longer.
