‘General Hospital’ (GH) star, Haley Pullos, who plays the role of Molly Lansing-Davis will be temporarily replaced on the show after she was arrested for a DUI last month.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Haley Pullos Involved In Car Accident
TMZ reports that Haley Pullos, who told Soap Opera Digest last week that she was taking a break from the soap opera so that she could recover from car accident, is actually in trouble after she was involved in a freeway collision in Pasadena, California, while under the influence of alcohol.
This incident happened on April 29. A police report obtained by TMZ says that the soap opera star collided head-on with another vehicle after swerving and flying over the dividing barrier into oncoming traffic. Fortunately, the other driver survived the accident, but he was rushed to the ER after sustaining major injuries.
The soap opera star was reportedly unable to come out of her car and it took the help of firefighters to get her out. The report also states that she hit a firefighter while they assessed her injuries, shouting, “This is a $400 f******” shirt!” When an officer searched her vehicle, weed edibles and mini bottles of tequila were uncovered.
After taking her to the hospital, the police interviewed Pullos, who reportedly showed clear signs of inebriation. Her breath reeked of alcohol, her speech slurred speech, and eyes watery. The soap star was arrested for felony DUI while she was receiving treatment and she was sedated after fighting with hospital staff.
Reports have it that ‘General Hospital‘ producers have cast Holiday Mia Kriegel (Bull) to star as Molly as from the week of May 22. Last week, Pullos told Soap Opera Digest that, “Unfortunately, I was involved in an automobile accident and I’m doing okay, but I am going to need a little time to recover. I will be back as soon as possible.”
