‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers here and we’re set to dive into a new week with some fun weekly spoilery goodies.
This is going to be an intense week as emotions will continue to be ramped up as another main storyline looks like it’s about to wrap up, but we have a feeling there’s a twist or two coming our way.
Nothing is ever easy in Port Charles, so let’s grab some popcorn and settle in for some spoilers!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Dex is leaving
This is a conversation Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) hoped to never have, but now that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is listening to reason from Willow Tate (Katelynn MacMullen), things have changed.
For Dex, he only sees two options, one is he could stay and be killed by Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and the other is he can run and be hunted down by Sonny.
He’s going to do the second and he’s going to tell Joss.
Joss has been through an emotional rollercoaster the last few weeks, and she feels like her life is falling apart and she’s losing everyone.
So, she’s going to try to hold onto Dex and say she’ll come with him. The fact she’s willing to give up her family to be with him shows how frightened she is, and she may become more desperate in the coming days.
One thing “General Hospital” Spoilers are confident about is she’ll hold Sonny responsible for everything and her hate will only keep growing.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Thinking he’s in control
Michael’s going to walk the line between burying the hatchet and trying to excerpt control over Sonny, and it’s going to be interesting to see how he manages this.
Michael’s shown he knows Sonny is the same person he always was towards his family, but like Joss, his hurt over him choosing Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) over his mother has left him bitter.
He looks for justification to go after Sonny, and now that he has proof that could send Sonny away, he’s going to follow Willow’s wishes and try to make peace.
They’ll have a good conversation about what they both want and expect, all the while Michael will have his phone with the recording in his hand.
We don’t think he’s dumb enough to actually show Sonny what it is, but he’ll either wait until they’re in agreement to delete it, or tell Sonny the power he has over him and if he ever steps out of line he’ll send it to the authorities.
We hope he’s not foolish enough to threaten Sonny, but we still think Brick (Stephen A. Smith) knows something and what’s in the crate isn’t the purported plastic explosives.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Nina’s sorry
In what is a huge difference between their characters, Nina will feel guilty over what she did and won’t be able to hide it as well as Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
Ava Jerome (Maura West) made some great points about Nina getting away with the perfect crime, and Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) did break the law, so Nina will remain content until her conscience gnaws at her again.
The funny thing is, it looks like Carly won’t be able to come through with Nina, which isn’t a surprise. While the programming in the Cult of Carly is strong, Willow can be stubborn when she wants to be.
Or Carly may not have tried yet given the issues she’s having.
Either way, it looks like Nina will grow frustrated with her and let it slip that she felt bad for something, and Carly will start to put the pieces together and mobilize her cult once more.
Things are not going to end well for Nina. It would’ve been so much better for her has she listened to Sonny and broken they cycle of hate, but now it’ll keep going and she’ll probably lose Sonny.
