Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Results!
Tonight should be a fun episode as the WWE kicks off the World Heavyweight Championship Tournament with a pair of triple threat matches and Trish Stratus is returning!
Without further ado, let’s get to the action!
Cody Rhodes came out to welcome the fans to Raw after a promo clip made his match against Lesnar sound epic, but they skipped the part he ran away like a dog afterwards.
He started it off by saying how Jacksonville was his home during the pandemic and he wants to make another memory.
He then switched to talking about Backlash and how he discovered what Lesnar is made of and beat him.
Lesnar took away his focus, but now he’s focused on the World Heavyweight Championship.
After saying he won’t rest until he wins the new title, Cody asked for he tournament to start as an apparent emcee, and Seth Rollins came out to get it started.
World Heavyweight Championship Tournament – Seth Rollins vs. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Damian Priest
Priest nailed Nakamura as soon as the bell rang, then worked over Rollins in the opposite corner before going back and forth, but Nakamura caught him with a combination of kicks and Rollins sent him to the floor with a knee to the back.
Rollins and Nakamura squared off and they traded holds before Nakamura gained the early advantage and took Rollins out.
He then ducked a big boot by Priest and hit him with a knee drop on the apron.

After Nakamura and Priest went at it, Rollins hit them both from the top rope and hit suicide dives on both on opposite sides of the ring before Priest caught him with a right in the ropes.
A series of pin attempts followed, and Priest caught Rollins out of the air for a Flatliner and a near pinfall.
Rollins took out Nakamura with a discus lariat, but as he headed to the top rope Priest caught him and went for the Razor’s Edge.
Rollins fought free and hit a Stomp for a pin attempt Nakamura broke up.
Nakamura hit an Exploder on Rollins and went for a kinsasha, but Priest caught him with a clothesline.
Nakamura locked in a knee lock on Priest, and Rollins broke it up with a splash on Nakamura and hit a Pedigree on Nakamura for the win.
Backstage, the Imperium got into it with Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens when they tried to push Owens and Zayn round while the champs attempted to brush them off.
Owens wondered why everyone has henchmen, and Zayn told them they’ll take care of them tonight.

Ali started the match fast with a couple of dropkicks, but Otis stopped him with a clothesline.
Ali fought out of a gorilla press and hit Otis with a shoulder, but a casual clothesline by Otis ended his run again.
Otis was then caught in a war between Gable and DuPree as Gable wanted him to do the caterpillar, and it gave Ali time to avoid a splash and score the surprise pin.
