Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Results! Tonight should be an interesting show as it’s Night of Champions Go Home episode and pretaped. We’ve got plenty of popcorn, so let’s get to the action!
United States Championship – Austin Theory (c) vs. Sheamus
Theory tried to wrestle Sheamus early on, but Sheamus relied on his power to hammer away on Theory.
Theory managed to hit a rolling dropkick, then fought out of Theory’s attempts at ten beats and went for a White Noise.
But Theory fought free and drove Sheamus into the ring post and suplexed him onto the ring apron.
We returned from the commercial while Theory pummeled Sheamus and going for a pin attempt, But Sheamus caught him with a boot.
Theory hit a left and a rolling blockbuster for a near pinfall.
He mocked Sheamus, and that fired him up enough that Sheamus hit a Glasgow Kiss and nailed a series of clotheslines and an Irish Curse backbreaker for a near pinfall.
Sheamus followed it with an uppercut for another pin attempt, but Theory slipped out of a White Noise attempt and hit his own spinning power bomb for a near pinfall.
After trading boots, Theory grabbed a chair but Holland took it from him and Sheamus unloaded 25 beats on him.

Sheamus readied for a Brogue Kick when Pretty Deadly took out the Brutes and Sheamus fought them off, but Theory rolled Sheamus up for the win.
Backstage, Reigns told Heyman to fill in the Usos about his plans, and Heyman said they’re invited for next week’s 1000 day celebration of his championship run.
Jimmy went to leave, and when he didn’t sit down when Reigns told him to, reigns got up and told him to do something after standing up on him.

Reigns kept goading him and saying nothing has changed since they were kids when he beat Jimmy then and he’ll do it now, and Jimmy will respect him, obey him, and acknowledge him.
Jey played peacekeeper and left with Jimmy.

Bayley and Raquel started it off and Bayley didn’t waste any time in getting into Raquel’s head, but she powered her way out of trouble to tag in Shotzi and they cleared the ring.
Raquel then held the ropes for Shotzi to hit a dive and go for a pin attempt on SKY.
Bayley blind tagged in and with help from SKY she rolled Raquel up for a pin attempt.
Raquel fought free to tag in Shotzi, and she took it to Bayley with a bulldog and a series of strikes and kicks for a pin attempt.
Bayley went for a sunset flip, but Sky hit Raquel enroute to a missile dropkick on Shotzi, and Raquel sat down on Bayley for the pin.
