Fans know that Daniel Jonas is dead, but fans also know that anything can happen in Salem. Even the dead comes back to life. If Megan and Bo can resurrect, Daniel Jonas can.
For the non-long-time viewers of the show, Shawn Christian joined the Days of Our Lives as Daniel Jonas in 2007, and started working as a doctor in the Salem University Hospital.
Daniel is also Victor Kiriakis’ god son. He had many relationships on the show, and his last was with Nicole. The lovers planned to tie the knot, but that day never came. Daniel died in a car accident caused by an intoxicated Eric Brady!
Ever since he died, Daniel’s spirit has appeared a number of times. He last appeared in 2017. However, during a recent interview, actor Shawn expressed his stance about returning to the show to reprise his role.
The soap opera star actor gushed about how he enjoyed his previous stint on the show. He went on to say that if the opportunity ever presented itself, he would take it. He also said that fans of the TV show still ask him about returning to reprise his role.
He expressed how deeply grateful he is for all the love that fans show him. He also feels moved that after being absent for all these years.
If Daniel eventually returns to the show, fans will be happy to see him back. But how would Nicole react when her dead fiancé comes back to life? Would she forget Eric and EJ and move on with Daniel?
