‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep the ball moving with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
Manipulations are running high in Port Charles while others deal with the result of their choices. Without further ado, let’s dive into some spoilers!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Friday, June 29: She never learns
We’re not surprised that Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) hasn’t listened to anyone and is still trying to find a way to manipulate Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali)’s life, and that will blow up in her face spectacularly.
But it’s how she’s doing it that could sink their relationship permanently, or at least a few years, as she’s going to try to weaponize Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) into leaving Port Charles with her baby.
In Portia’s mind, that’ll force Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) into chasing after her and leaving Trina with her all safe and sound.
Portia seems to forget that Trina is her own person and will most likely go with Spencer despite him telling her not to. In typical fashion, this will show that Portia doesn’t know her daughter, or wants to, since that’s how Portia’s gotten into trouble around Spencer previously.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Friday, June 29: Drew got off easy
There’s no doubt in “General Hospital” Spoilers’ mind that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will promise Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) he’ll come back to her and she’ll promise she’ll wait.
A true love story built on stupidity, but still a love story.
We think the writers took the easy way out as there is no way his daughter would’ve just accepted him going to jail that easily. She should’ve been upset and crying, not accepting it and going on with her life like it’s normal.
It’s not even about her mom going to prison years earlier, it’s how kids react.
Drew should’ve been eviscerated by her, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), and even Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) for putting Carly and her family first, second, and third over his own daughter.
We really hoped he would’ve told them he would’ve sold Aurora and given the money to Carly to pay her financial debt for her actually breaking the law. It would’ve been fun to see them deal with him tossing his daughter’s legacy out the window.
But the writers took it easy on him.
He, like everyone in Carly’s orbit, acted like Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) wouldn’t take care of his children with her and only Carly could do that. In short, he wanted to keep Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) away to protect Carly.
And now she’ll give him a hero’s sendoff for falling on his sword and taking the blame for her choice. Looks like the Cult of Carly indeed lives on.
Will Portia realize what she’s doing before it’s too late? Let us know in the comments below and check back with “General Hospital” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
