‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
There’s a lot of moving parts in Port Charles right now, and with revelations and life altering decisions things are going to get really interesting.
Let’s grab some popcorn and dive in!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Thursday, June 8: Dex’s decision
Over the last few months, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) has seen a different side of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) he didn’t expect, and it’s the same side Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) pretend doesn’t exist to justify their tantrum.
Sonny seemed to score really big points when he offered Dex a place to belong and “General Hospital” Spoilers thinks he’s going to decide to stay in Sonny’s organization.
Since Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will be melting down after Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) basically asked her if she’s stupid due to her blind hate and then destroyed the flash drive, Dex will try to calm her with his decision.
If he stays it means they won’t have to leave, he won’t be killed, and with the flash drive destroyed there’s no evidence he ever betrayed Sonny.
While it’s good news for him, we doubt Joss will take it as such since Sonny’s supposed to be an unfeeling monster that needs to be punished for giving her a good life.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Thursday, June 8: Ned’s getting ideas
Now that Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) accidentally overheard Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) telling Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) that he’ll do everything he can to ensure no one knows she’s the one that contacted the SEC, he’s going to have some plans.
It’ll be good for him to know who did it, but there’s always another wrinkle to come in Ned’s mind. Since Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) did commit insider trading, letting them go down for it wouldn’t be wrong.
And outing Nina wouldn’t serve him in any way at the moment except as a bargaining chip, which could mean just about anything.
Since Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has been a pain in his side with ELQ due to him trying to stop Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), Ned could see this as an opportunity to get full control back.
To him, Drew going to prison will take care of that obstacle, and he can hold what he knows over Nina’s head to force her to convince Valentin to give up his spot in ELQ and support Ned.
If they do this, it’ll be fitting given how everyone’s been unfairly accusing Ned of being a shark. Now he’ll get to show his teeth and get exactly what he wants with nothing more than a little leverage.
