‘General Hospital‘ star, James Patrick Stuart (Valentin) is celebrating his 55th birthday today, June 16. On GH, Valentin finally got his dream woman, and that’s one thing to celebrate. In real life, the role interpreter also has something to celebrate – his birthday.

James Patrick Stuart was born on June 16, 1968, in Hollywood, California. The actor started his TV career when he played “Doctor Zee” in the series Galactica 1980 — a role he started playing at 12 years of age.
In 1990, he took on a role as a cameo in the 1990 romantic comedy Pretty Woman. In 1993, he went on to play Col. E. Porter Alexander in the period drama Gettysburg, and he subsequently reprised the role in the prequel film Gods and Generals.
He continued his acting career between 1989 and 1992, when he played the role of Will Cortland on All My Children. Stuart returned to his soap opera career in 2016 when he joined the cast members of General Hospital as Valentin Cassadine.
Stuart’s other acting credits include guest appearances on TV shows such as Sliders, Frasier, JAG, Ghost Whisperer, and Bones. The actor also featured in series like 90210, Hot in Cleveland, The Closer, and Still Standing. His current acting role is the family patriarch in the Villains of Valley View.
His entertainment credits do not end there. He is also a singer/songwriter (as an influence from his dad, Chad — of Chad & Jeremy fame). He is also a voiceover artist, and has learnt his voice in a number of video games, including Batman, Call of Duty, and Kingdom Hearts as well as a number of characters for the Nickelodeon series The Penguins of Madagascar.
Stuart currently voices One-Eyed Wally on the animation, Amphibia. Stuart is married to Jocelyn Jane Stilwell, whom he tied the knot with in September 9, 2000. They share two children, Graham and Colin.
