Katelyn MacMullen was born on June 27, 1995, in Los Angeles County, California. The actress began her career as a child model and commercial performer.
She worked for clothing brands and companies like Disney and Mattel. Later on, she briefly left the business when her family left Los Angeles and moved to Reno, Nevada. While she was in Nevada, the GH star focused on completing high school and playing on the basketball team.
When she graduated, she went on to study Nutritional Science at The University of Nevada Reno. After that, she returned to L.A. and decided to pursue her dream in the entertainment world.
MacMullen perfected her acting talent at Playhouse West under the guidance of Robert Carnegie and former soap opera star Holly Gagnier, who played Jennifer Smith in GH; ex-Ivy Selejko Jannings on Days of our Lives; and Cassie Callison on One Life to Live.
MacMullen made her TV debut when she featured in the Yahoo! original series Sin City Saints, and then she continued to bag roles in a short film (Roofied) and a feature-length horror picture, The Row. Katelyn MacMullen joined the General Hospital cast members on October 18, 2018.
When she is not busy on set, Katelyn enjoys reading, hiking, watching plays, cooking, camping, and spending time with her family and friends.
She has 3 siblings, all brothers. Katelyn is the second child of her parents, Shannon (Mother) and Mr. Macmullen. she got nominated two times in 2020 and 2021 for Daytime Emmy Award for her role on General Hospital.
