Camila Banus turns 32 years old today. She was born on July 22, 1990, in Miami Beach, Florida. She used to have lots of energy as a child and this resulted in her dear mother finding her a talent manager.
Soon the actress found herself becoming a catalog model, commercial actress, and telenovela star. When she was a high school student, the actress sent an audition tape to the producers of One Life to Live, New York based soap opera, and she bagged the role of Lola Montez! However, that part was eventually written out from the soap.
When her stint on One Life to Live ended, Banus relocated to Los Angeles and she bagged acting gigs as a guest actress in shows like I’m In The Band and Zeke and Luther. In 2010te actress hired to take over from ‘Days of Our Lives’ star, Gabriela Rodriguez, who played the part of Gabi Hernandez.
Banus played the role of Gabi on the soap until June 12, 2014, when she exited the show in order to pursue other acting gigs. Banus went on to subsequently appear in episodes of Hawaii Five-O, Matador, and the Lifetime original movie Wishin’ and Hopin’ before she returned to reprise her role on ‘Days of Our Lives’ on a permanent basis in September 2015.
Camila Banus has other acting credits which include recurring roles on Mistresses and Star, guest roles in Global Child, Snowfall, and The Last Defectors. She also featured in films such as Almost Amazing, Counterpunch, Marigold the Matador, and Killer Caregiver.
