Since the character, Philip, was introduced in 1998, many actors have played the role. A number of child actors played the role until the character was SOARsed in a year later. Actor Brandon Tyler started playing the old version of Philip. Later, Jay Kenneth Johnson portrayed the role until 2002.
Philip was recast and Kyle Brandt took over in 2003, and after he left in 2006, Johnson returned to take over. In 2015, John-Paul Lavoisier took over and left in 2016. Now, fans are happy that he will be becoming back to play Philip again.
