On this week’s Impact Wrestling episode (July 13), the show closed with Scott D’Amore on the phone with someone. He said this time PCO can’t be brought back to life and asked if the person on the other end can be.
Scott hung up and the camera settled on a Team Canada jacket before going off air.
This got wrestling fans buzzing about who could be returning, and the comments about returning to life was fitting given Impact Wrestling tends to “kill off” wrestlers at times.
The latest was Eric Young when Deaner killed him for being infected with the Sickness and transitioned Violence By Design into the Design.
Young then left Impact to return to the WWE as a producer. His return followed Vince McMahon “retiring” and since Young was vocal about Vince’s lack of leadership when he left in 2020, the timing may not have been coincidental.
But now it looks like Young may be returning to Imapct Wrestling to team with Scott D’Amore against Bully Ray and Deaner for Slammiversary.

Coming full circle
It was reported by PWInsider that Young was seen in the Detroit airport and it lends credibility to the rumor that he quietly left the WWE and will return to Impact Wrestling.
If this is true, it’s a cool return to the past when Young was part of Team Canada with Scott in the early years of TNA. It’ll also allow Deaner and Young to pick up where they left off since Deaner believes he killed him and so on.
And with former NHL star and enforcer Darren McCarthy serving as special enforcer after his previous problems with Bully Ray and this looks like it’s going to be a fun show.
