For the past year, WWE fans have gotten used to the presence of social media megastar Logan Paul. Having taken the likes of Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins to their limits, and even getting a win over a former WWE Champion in The Miz – Paul has proven he’s not just in WWE to collect an easy paycheck.
His athletic skills have made him shine – but WWE fans still choose to boo him, something Paul has learned to not take so personally.
Logan Paul Has Learned To
While speaking on the ImPaulsive podcast, Paul would reveal that at first – he didn’t like being a heel in WWE. Paul explained how he learned to fit into the role moving forward.
“I’m obviously a heel, and I like it, but I didn’t at first. When I first got there and people started booing me, I really took it personal. I just didn’t understand. I was pissed. Bruce Prichard came back, ‘that was amazing. They hate you.’ I’m affected by this. Now, I eat it up, and I started to play with the interaction with people in the front row who are booing me.
I have to say, the WWE fans have balls. I will get in their face and they’re flipping me off. ‘Fuck you.’ I’m right here. I’m sorry, sir, I could end your life where you stand — I obviously won’t because it’s illegal. The fact that they have no regret and no signs of backing down right in front of my face, they have respect for me. They’re a character too. They’re having fun. Now, I’m leaning into it. I’m liking it, and they love to hate me.”
We can expect to see Paul in the ring for Summerslam 2023. He’s set to face off with Ricochet. In the 2023 Royal Rumble and Money in the Bank matches, Paul would clash with Ricochet in highlight reel level moments. Now has a chance to face him in singles. This is likely to result in the second singles victory for Paul in WWE.
