‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL)Spoilers here and we’re all se to keep things moving with plenty of fun spoilery goodies to share.
The name of the game for this episode is discovery, and there’s going to be some secrets coming out as well as digging for others.
But the big news is that we’ll finally learn the fate of Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston). It’s been nine months since the actor passed away, but due to the show shooting up to six months ahead, we’ll be officially saying goodbye to the legendary character.
His absence has been felt as Victor was the king of the one liners and he was simply awesome with whatever material he was given.
It’s going to be a couple of weeks where we’ll be saying goodbye to him, and it’s going to be tough to go through it once again, but it’ll be good to relive the memories he’s given us over his decades long career.
It was a pleasure seeing him in action even if for a brief time. With that being said, let’s get into some spoilers.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Wednesday, August 16: Gwen’s in the know
In a twist that we haven’t been looking forward to, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will discover her best friend was hiding in her and her husband’s room.
“Days of Out Lives’ Spoilers really wish Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) hadn’t gotten drawn in to begin with, but traveling to Iceland was tempting fate.
The only thing that can save him and Dimitri Von Leuschner (Peter Porte) is if Gwen jumps to the conclusion that Leo traveled there to be with her, and that may be a little farfetched.
It’ll depend on Dimitri and Leo’s quick thinking and whether or not they can trick Gwen yet again. Leo is tired of the games and doesn’t want to hurt her, so this may be the straw that broke the camel’s back for him.
Things should get pretty interesting pretty fast with this one.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Wednesday, August 16: Chad apologizes
After getting reamed by Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein), Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) owes Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) an apology, and this has potential to be an awkward and confrontational scene.
Chad will still have a chip on his shoulder after projecting his own antics onto Alex instead of considering Alex is still learning about boundaries, and we’re sure his apology will be tense at best.
And depending on the timing, Alex may know about Victor’s passing, and this will take the wind out of Chad’s self congratulatory sails and he’ll apologize for real.
It won’t be a bonding moment or anything like that, but Chad will stop being a douche for five seconds and show Alex some understanding and sympathy.
