‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) Spoilers here and we’re ready for some more fun and games in Salem as some twists are coming and the new mayor wreaks havoc.
There’s always got to be a bad guy lurking somewhere, and once again it’s going to be someone in power as the show will undoubtedly ramp things up to an 11, hopefully without any political bias this time.
Without further ado, let’s dive into some spoilery goodies!
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Tuesday, August 8: Sweet Bits is in danger
It was bound to happen at some point now that things started settling down for Chanel DuPree (Raven Bowens), and we have a feeling it’ll be centered around her rehiring Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillian).
Since Talia is the one that poisoned half the town, the optics will be bad enough, and when acting mayor Clint Rawlings (Grayson Berry) catches wind of it he’s sure to make Chanel’s life miserable.
We have a feeling this will only be the beginning, but he’ll threaten to shut Sweet Bits down over the possible threat Talia represents and may accuse Chanel of having more of a hand in the original poisoning than anyone knew.
It’ll be over the top and redundant, but it’s something Chanel should’ve been wary of when she decided to bring Talia back. Talia may be sorry, but the town knowing she’s working there could kill the business before the mayor has a chance to roll up his sleeves.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Tuesday, August 8: Abe gets a push
Now that he’s living with the Johnsons, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) will feel more comfortable. At least, until Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) tries to coax Abe into giving Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) another chance.
She’ll be gentle about it, but she’ll try to help him get some of his memories back to help him relax and settle back into his old life.
The part about this that bothers “Days of Our Lives” Spoilers is he clearly has PTSD from his time with Whitley King (Kim Coles) and we hope he’s seeing Marlena Evans (Diedre Hall) for that.
If not, we doubt this will end well for Abe and he’ll continue struggling to regain his memory and trusting Paulina.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Tuesday, August 8: Shawn’s feeling bad
Now that his suspension for drinking on the job is over, Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will return to work, but he’ll be feeling guilty over costing Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) his job, and she should.
We have a feeling the washing over of his mistakes will continue since Rafe is happy not being police commissioner anymore, and that’s not going to help Shawn deal with his demons.
Of course, he did a lot of soul searching while on suspension, and he may come back slightly changed, but the brooding will continue.
