We will see Shawn grieving the loss of Victor, backsliding into depression. Shawn will be consumed by guilt as he tells himself that he is responsible for Victor’s death because the late patriarch was visiting Bo, whom he (Shawn) shot when trying to defend his mother.
Shawn’s grief will cause him to isolate himself from Belle Brady’s attempts to reach out, and he will start drinking alcohol again.
