Impact Wrestling Emergence Results returned as Jade Chung was the ring announcer and she announced Gail Kim as guest commentator for this match.
They started off trading moves, and Kim talked about how she was with the both when they started and that they’re mentally strong and have earned the accolades they’ve gotten.
Trinity hit an ax kick for a pin attempt, and countered Purrazzo’s offensive attempts with a pair of kicks in the corners to send Purrazzo to the floor to regroup.
She followed it with a baseball slide and went for a head scissors, but Purrazzo caught her and hit a reverse piledriver on the floor.
Back in the ring, Purrazzo hit a knee and clothesline for a near pinfall, and then continued to work on Trinity’s back and neck with a hold.
Purrazzo continued to hammer away with elbows and a reverse chin lock as she continued to ground her and keep the pact under her control.
Trinity fought back and hit a jawbreaker, and they caught each other with clotheslines.
They made it back to their feet before the ref made it to ten, and Trinity fired off a series of strikes and kicks before hitting a Samoan Drop and a kip up.
Trinity hit a crossbody off the top rope for a near pinfall, and she went for a jackknife, but Purrazzo rolled through for a Queen’s Gambit attempt.

Pulling out all the stops
Trinity fought free and ate a pump kick for another near pinfall.
Purrazzo snapped her left arm back, hit a knee lift, a side Russian leg sweet, and floated into a Fujiwara armbar but Trinity made it to the ropes to break the hold.
Trinty drove Purrazzo into the mat with a head scissors and then hit a split legged moonsault for a near pinfall.
Purrazzo caught her on the top rope, and after trading shots, Purrazzo hit a super plex.
They traded rights from their knees and then their feet with Purrazzo getting the upper hand, but Trinity ducke and went for a Full Nelson Bomb, but Purrazzo fought it off.
Trinity planted Purrazzo in the middle of the ring for a near pinfall, and they locked arms back to back and Purrazzo locked in another Fujiwara but Trinity fought free by rolling her over for a pin attempt.
Trinity went for a Star Struck, but she couldn’t lock it in due to her injured arm. Trinity then hit a Full Nelson Bomb for a near pinfall.
After fighting off a Fujiwara, Trinity hit a Code Red and a Star Struck for the submission victory.
After the match, the two shook hands and embraced before Purrazzo left the ring for Trinity to celebrate.
This was a fun show and the pacing was really old school, adding a different layer of ring psychology we don’t often get to see when they fly by.
