Impact Wrestling results returned as Brian Myers, Moose, and Bully Ray came up to Lio Rush to congratulate him on making the right decision last week and that they are happy, proud, and excited for what he did.
Rush said he doesn’t like this because he’s not there to make any friends and Moose got frustrated and told him they don’t want to be his friend but for him to trust them.
Rush said they can trust him until Emergence but it won’t go on forever. Bully told him this can go on forever and they want to trust him unless he gives them a reason not to.
Digital Media Championship Triple Threat – Kenny King (c) w/Sheldon Jean vs Joe Hendry vs. Yuya Uemura
This is going to be a fun match with plenty of different possibilities for us to enjoy.
To start off, Yuya offered his hand to Hendry and King shoved him into Hendry and they traded roll up attempts.
Eventually, Yuya and Hendry teamed up to hit King with a couple of moves and Hendry accepted Yuya’s handshake and went for a headlock and shoulder tackle.
Hendry chopped them both to the beat of his sing until King stopped him with a kick.
King hit a snap suplex on Hendry and a running boot to Yuya, then threw Hendry into Yuya, who backdropped Hendry to the floor.
Hendry hit a neckbreaker on King when he was going for a suplex on Yuya but King kicked out.

King hit a spinebuster on Hendry for a near pinfall Yuya broke up, and he went to work on King, but King was one step ahead and hit an exploder that sent Yuya to the floor.
Yuya caught both of them with a crossbody off the top rope, then hit them with splashes in opposite corners before hitting a bulldog on King and a belly to back suplex on Hendry for a near pinfall King broke up.
Yuya headed to the top rope but Hendry caught him with a cutter, but was pulled out of the ring by Jean for King to go for the pin.
King closed it out with a Royal Flush on Yuya to retain.
The Rascalz (Trey Miguel, Zachary Wentz) vs. Mike Bailey and Jonathan Gresham
Wentz and Bailey started it off and Trey distracted Bailey right away for Wentz to get a shot in and then send Gresham off the apron, but they rebounded and we were back to Wentz and Bailey.
They went back and forth off the ropes before Baily landed a kick, machine gun kicks, and a round house followed by an arm breaker.
Gresham tagged in and he went to work on Wentz’s arms with a unique tie up while twisting Wentz’ ankle and leg around for an eventual pin attempt.

Wentz and used the ropes for a modified low blow and he and Trey fired off a series of double teams on Gresham and Bailey.
The Rascalz continued to work over Gresham for a pin attempt, but Gresham fought back with a suplex on Trey to buy some time and tag in Bailey, who hit a missile dropkick and a series of kicks and a standing shooting star for a near pinfall.
Trey responded with a suplex and tagged Wentz in for another series of double teams.
Wentz threw spray paint into the ring and Trey sprayed Gresham in the eyes and rolled him up for the win.
Not dead yet
The show closed out with the exclusive footage between Deaner and Young from months ago when it was thought Deaner killed him.

— Eric Young (@TheEricYoung) August 4, 2023
It was revealed that after Deaner thought Young was dead, he woke up after Deaner left and crawled out of the room.
Young climbed onto his motorcycle and drove off. Young did a voice over about life and death being opposites but one not able to exist without the other.
He asked if one can be dead if they weren’t really alive, and that death is the final curtain call but he ain’t dead yet.
He’s lived a thousand lives in this business, and if he has his way he’ll live a thousand more. Ideas are eternal and he’s more than a man, life, or death. He’s an idea and he will live forever.
This was a pretty awesome way to explain Young’s “death” and how he’s come back as it’s the death of his character, not him. It plays into the show while pulling the curtain back for us to see the trick being done.
