Since the news about Bray Wyatt’s passing came out wrestlers and fans have poured out their hearts as they’ve shared memories and tried to comfort each other.
It’s a testament to the kind of person Windham Rotunda was to have so many care so deeply about him, and it just goes to show that we never know what kind of mark we’re making on people’s lives.
Kim Orton Shares Her Husband Randy Orton is Hurting Over Bray Wyatt’s Passing
While the outpouring of love is mixed with disbelief, pain, and more, we’ve also seen some deal with their grief by looking back at previous conversations with Windham, like Seth Rollins talked about his conversation with Windham after Brodie Lee passed away.
He said he could’ve gone to Smackdown for the tribute, but he would’ve had to leave his family a day early, and that conversation with Windham came to mind where Windham told him to hug his baby girl and that’s what Rollins chose to do.
Things can change in a heartbeat and it’s important we hold those we care about close.
Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows shared a couple of funny stories about how they met Windham and some of the antics they got into in Japan on Anderson’s Instagram.
Coping their own way
While everyone deals with it in their own way by sharing memories or condolences and love, others take things harder and may not be able to say anything.
One of those is future WWE Hall of Famer Randy Orton. His wife Kim took to Instagram to share that she sees Randy hurting.
“This hits different… It hurts my heart to see my husband hurting….as I sit and look at this picture it just makes my heart break thinking his children are around the same age as mine here. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Pls pray that God gives JoJo the strength to be strong enough in the light to comfort her children in this dark time and give her the courage to fall to her knees when she needs love and support in the dark 🙏🏼 give her strength to know she is not alone 🙏🏼 and she was left with the love of his beautiful babies to give her the support she will need to get through this. ❤️ Rest easy Windham 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼❤️”
This isn’t something anyone expected, and with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reporting Windham’s family told him he suffered a heart attack following his bout of Covid a few months back exasperated his heart conditions, it’s taken everyone by surprise.
It was reported that the WWE expected him to return as he was getting better, and now the world is minus one of the most incredible people to have lived.
