WWE Raw Results returned as Nakamura said he’s tired of people getting in his way, and he won tonight and will carve his own path. They were interrupted by a fight between JD and Zayn as JD beat him down.
Otis w/Maxxine Dupree vs. Wilhelm Kaiser w/Giovanni Vinci
Otis overpowered Kaiser early on, and then walked through kaiser’s rights to hit a shoulder tackle and body slam, but he missed a shoulder and hit the ring post.
Kaiser took advantage with a running knee and hammered away on Otis before he antagonized Maxxine.

Otis took advantage of it and pummeled Kaiser and went for the caterpillar, but Vinci tried to stop him, so Otis suplexed him into the ring.
GUNTHER ran in to hit a boot and Kaiser hit a knee for the win. Imperium stomped down Otis and Gable came out to clear the ring with GUNTHER slowly leaving while smiling and laughing at Gable.
Backstage, Cody walked off and Rollins said Zayn’s not cleared and he doesn’t trust Cody so it’ll probably be 3 on 1, and Nakamura offered his help and Rollins accepted.
Knight sets the Miz straight
Miz wasted no time in the ring to rant about how LA Knight didn’t follow the unspoken rules by introducing himself and shaking his hand before eliminating him from the battle royal, so of course Knight came out.
Knight said they had a great introduction in the battle royal, but he let the fans introduce him and offered Miz his hand. Miz rejected him and said he doesn’t deserve to shake his hand.
What time is it?
It's @RealLAKnight's time!#WWERaw pic.twitter.com/hqmV7N1pFA— WWE (@WWE) August 8, 2023
He’s seen so many try to ride off his coattails, and he’s had it. If you take away everything he has, we have LA Knight and called him a flash in the pan.
Knight told him he doesn’t have a problem with him, but he warned the Miz not to make it personal. And that set Miz on a rant about how he takes everything personally.
When asked what he’s done for the last 20 years, he said he was outside watching the WWE making all the wrong choices, including the Miz. He said Miz got a 20 year head start because he was safe and he’d take whatever they did to him like kick him out of the locker room.
The Miz told him he’s not on his level, and Knight challenged him to prove him wrong. After a brief stare down, Miz acted like he was leaving and threw his jacket at Knight and went for a Skull Crushing Finale.
Knight reversed it to a BFT and then shook Miz’s hand.
