WWE Smackdown Results returned as Edge came out to a huge pop. He started it off by saying he knows he’s a surprise and it’s been way too long since he’s seen the fans in Calgary.
His excuse for being there is he wants to have a match next week in his hometown of Toronto against someone he’s never faced, and that’s Sheamus.
He said Sheamus lit a fire under him to get him thinking he could do this after he was injured and retired. Sheamus has a Youtube channel and contacted Edge about coming up there and Edge wanted to get him on a mountain bike.

He thought it’d be funny if Sheamus wiped out, but he did instead at 20 MPH, and Sheamus asked him why can’t you wrestle and it lit the light bulb in Edge’s head.
When he was ready he called Sheamus to help him and Sheamus moved in and became part of his extended family as he helped him train to get ready.
He then asked the fans to put their hands together for Sheamus and the Brawling Brutes so he can get his answer.
Sheamus came out grinning ear to ear and shared the footage of Edge’s wipeout, and Edge gripped a little about having his white butt put on TV, and after Sheamus said he’s shown that, Edge called him a red headed Yeti and showed a photo of Sheamus sitting on his daughter’s bike.
Some more friendly barbs were exchanged, and Sheamus talked about how in 2004 he was at a crossroads with his career when WWE came into town.
He thought it was a great chance to ask for advice, and everyone gave him the cold shoulder except for Edge. He said Edge didn’t have to talk to him but he did.

Sheamus talked about that bike being the catalyst for getting him in the ring, if it hadn’t been for Edge’s advice he wouldn’t be in the ring.
Edge appreciates him and asked him if he’ll wrestle him for the first time next week in Toronto.
Sheamus asked for the fans’ opinions and they cheered so Sheamus accepted and told Edge he hopes he didn’t make a mistake.

B-Fab tried to distract Knight, but he ducked Top Dolla’s clothesline, but was distracted when Adonis grabbed him leg and Dolla took advantage with B-Fab and Adonis taking shots from time to time.
Knight slipped out of a fireman’s carry and hit a couple of rights and a bulldog before he knocked Adonis off the apron and finished Dolla off with an Elbow and a BFT for the win.
