Asuka was the one to finally break the dominant streak of Bianca Belair as champion, and is once again at the top of the women’s division on Smackdown Live.

However, the sudden return of Charlotte Flair put Asuka back in the mix with one of her top rivals. Tonight, Asuka not only defends against Belair – but Flair as well in a high stakes Triple Threat match.

It will take a perfect performance or some cunning wit from Asuka to leave as champion, but she’s up to both tasks. Add in Iyo Sky with the Money In The Bank briefcase – and tonight Asuka needs to be on extremely high alert.

A Three Way War For One Of The Top Prizes In WWE

All three ladies were laser focused as the match began, with Asuka & Belair avoiding strikes before Flair was able to drop Asuka.

Belair & Flair would meet in the middle of the ring, with Flair hitting a big knee strike to the midsection. Asuka would yank Flair to the floor, where Belair would dive to the floor onto both.

Back in the ring, Asuka would hit a sliding knee before a pop up knee strike to Belair. Flair broke the pinfall up, but took a German Suplex from Asuka.

A series of kicks to both Belair & Flair would see Flair avoid and roll up Asuka for a two count. Flair was sent from the ring as Belair tried for a suplex, with Asuka countering into a Small Package.

Flair would come off the top rope with a crossbody splash – before stacking Belair & Asuka in the corner for a front handspring lariat.

A double Natural Selection would land, but Flair was unable to get the pinfall. Flair would run down Belair with a big boot and try for the Figure Eight – with Asuka rushing in for a Codebreaker, getting a two count.

Asuka would toss Belair from the ring before trading forearm smashes in the ring, only for Belair to slip back in and hit a Neckbreaker & DDT combo on both opponents.

Belair would follow up by setting up a moonsault in the middle of the ring, but both Asuka & Flair got their knees up. Asuka would catch Flair in the Asuka Lock – but Belair went for the moonsault a second time, breaking it up.

Bianca Belair Suffers A Potential Injury

Belair would climb to the top rope, but was sent to the floor by Asuka. Flair would hit a big forearm smash to send Asuka to the floor as well – before setting up the moonsault.

She only caught Belair, with Asuka catching Flair with a roundhouse kick moments later, before rolling her into the ring for a diving DDT.

Belair would break up the pinfall, and nearly ended up in the Asuka Lock – with Flair saving her before ending up in the KO-D.

She’d land on his feet, before Belair would drop her. Asuka threw Belair from the ring, and tried to apply the armbar in the middle of the ring. Flair would block, and as Asuka shifted into the Triangle Choke – Flair tried for a powerbomb.

Belair would rush into the ring, but ended up in the Asuka lock, with Flair trying to pin both Asuka & Belair while the submission was applied.

Flair would be unable to get the win, before a moonsault off the top rope for a near fall. Belair would be launched over the top rope, landing hard on her knee – and being checked by ringside doctors.

Asuka & Flair would continue the match in the ring, with Flair set up on the top rope and tossed down with a suplex. Belair would be helped to the back, essentially making this a singles match between Asuka & Flair. A flurry of strikes from Asuka would be met by a spear from Charlotte – getting a near fall.

Bianca Belair Gets A Smart Victory, Iyo Sky Cashes In Money In The Bank

The Figure Eight would be applied in the ring – and Belair would struggle down to the ring, determined to come off the top rope and break the submission up.

A 450 Splash would land on Flair, with Asuka slipping away to recover. Belair was still having issues with her knee – but would throw some forearm smashes at Flair and duck some chops before trying for the KO-D.

Flair would counter and look to apply the Figure Eight – a certain win with the condition of Belair. Asuka would slip in and use the mist on Flair before Belair avoided the kick and rolled up Belair for the pinfall victory – regaining her belt!

Bayley & Iyo Sky would rush to the ring – and Sky would use the Money In The Bank briefcase to bash the knee. Belair was set up for the Moonsault, and Belair was defeated – her reign ending immediately as it began. Sky would celebrate with Bayley & Dakota Kai.
