It’s been a long time since ‘General Hospital’ viewers saw Rena Sofer paly the role of Lois Cerullo in Port Charles. For fans who miss her, the long absence is about to end.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Lois Returns to Port Charles
When we first saw Sofer on ‘General Hospital’, she saw a singer, Eddie Maine, performing in an Upstate New York bar and she jumped on an opportunity to take him as a client.
The duo fell in love and tied the knot, but their marriage hit a roadblock when Lois found out that Eddie was actually Ned Ashton (now Quartermaine) and married to Katherine Bell.
Ned and Lois eventually gave birth to Brook Lynn before they went their separate ways. Fast froward to more than two decades, Ned is dealing a situation/condition, and he now thinks he really is Eddie Maine. He can’t even remember that he used to be Ned.
Since he woke up as “Neddie,” ‘General Hospital’ fans have speculated and hoped that his ex-wife, Lois would return for this storyline, as she seems to be the missing puzzle in the story.
Speculation on Sofer’s return to GH started earlier this year when the actress left The Bold and the Beautiful after playing Quinn Fuller for 10 years.
She even shared during an interview that she’d be open to a return ‘General Hospital’. However, there is no word yet on how long she will appear on GH, so we can only watch and see whether Lois will only pay a visit to her ex-husband and daughter to wrap up this storyline or whether she will stay for a long time.
What we know is Lois’ return will shake up the storyline. It seems Ned’s wife, Olivia has some drama coming her way.
