WWE Raw Results returned as Adam Pearce told Jey Smackdown is getting a trade compensation for him coming to Raw, and depending on who it is it’ll bring more heat on Jey and he just wanted to let him know.
Sami Zayn vs. JD McDonagh
JD ducked out to the floor as soon as the bell rang and he drew Sami into chasing him and after going back and forth in the ring, Sami flipped him and then went after him.
Sami took some chops, but quickly returned the favor and then threw JD into the turnbuckle hard enough to send him to the floor.
JD pulled Sami to the floor and bounced him off the ring apron, announce desk, and the ring post.

Sami took it to him and hit a Mishinoku Driver for a near pinfall, and JD ran into an exploder into the corner.
Sami went for the Helluva Kick but Dom pulled JD out of the ring. Sami went after Dom and hammered away on him on the announce desk, then turned his attention back to JD.
Dom took another right on the ring apron and JD rolled up Sami with a handful of tights for the win.
After the match, Sami unloaded on Dom and hit an exploder, then he went for a Helluva Kick, but JD pulled Sami out of the ring and threw him into the ring post before telling Dom to get out of there.
Sami hit another exploder on JD and this time he his a Helluva Kick while Dom headed to the back instead of helping.
Backstage, Dom approached Jey and tried to meet him partway on having a messed up family and knowing what Jey’s going through in a sales pitch for Jey to join Judgement Day and thanked him for his time.
Intercontinental Championship – GUNTHER (c) vs. Chad Gable
GUNTHER took control early on by taking Gable down with a headlock, and Gable countered with a head scissors.

Gable then ducked a chop and led GUNTHER on a chase and knocked GUNTHER off the apron twice with dropkicks.
GUNTHER took the fight to Gable and dominated the match until Gable hit a dragon screw in the ropes and then a heel lock before he had to break the hold. GUNTHER then caught him with a boot for a near pinfall.
Gable kept fighting back before being cut down by a single chop as GUNTHER continued hammering away on him.
Gable fired up and fired off a series of strikes, but GUNTHER picked him up and draped him over the top rope and stood on his throat before letting him drop to the floor.
GUNTHER went for a powerbomb, but Gable hit him with several rights that took them both to the floor where Gable hit a German Suplex.
Gable threw GUNTHER in, but GUNTHER caught him with a powerbomb and a stack up for a near pinfall.

Gable caught GUNTHER on the top rope with a superplex and hit a diving headbutt for a near pinfall, then locked in an ankle lock.
GUNTHER kicked his way free, but ate a back suplex and roiled into a Chaos Theory for a near pinfall.
GUNTHER tired to block a leap off the top rope with a boot, but Gable locked in an ankle lock and GUNTHER kicked out of it again and slapped on a sleeper hold.
Gable rolled him for a pin attempt to break the hold, then ate a suplex, powerbomb, and a lariat clothesline to win an retain the Intercontinental Championship to make history as the longest reigning champion as he passed the Honky Tonk Man.
