Tonight looks like a fun one, especially with John Cena rumored to team with AJ Styles against Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso in the main event.
We’ll have to wait and see if that’ll happen, so let’s get to the rest of the action until then!
John Cena came out to start the show as the announcers recapped he and AJ Styles fighting off Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa last week.
He welcomed us to Smackdown and said he’s been a whole lot of things since he was allowed to come home.

Tonight is different because he didn’t come back to host or be a ref and he wants to have a match and asked the fans for their permission and they gave their loud blessing for him to have a match tonight.
He then switched gears as he’s angry with the Bloodline and he’s angry enough to fight both of them, but he found himself and Phenomenal partner and AJ Styles came out.
Once Styles was in the ring, the fans chanted “This is awesome” and Styles asked them if they want him and Cena to face the Bloodline to a loud cheer and chants of “Yes!”
Styles accepted and told the Bloodline to come get some.
Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa came out and stood on the ring apron, but after jawing some and Cena taking his shirt off, Jimmy dropped to the floor and Solo slowly followed him as Jimmy told them not tonight.
Backstage, Adam Pearce told Styles and Cena that when dealing with the Bloodline they’re dealing with Paul Heyman and it’s complicated.
He said he’ll go find Heyman and see if he can’t get it done.
LWO (Rey Mysterio, Santos Escobar) w/Zelina Vega vs. The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins, Montez Ford) w/Bobby Lashley
Escobar and Dawkins started it off, and Dawkins used his size for an early shoulder tackle, but then he ate a dropkick for a pin attempt and then Rey tagged in.

Ford came in but Rey stayed one step ahead of him and pulled the rope down to send Ford to the floor and Rey went for a surfing splash but Dawkins pulled Ford out of the way so Rey hit the floor.
Vega worked to get the crowd fired up as Escobar hit a hurricanrana on Ford off the top rope for a near pinfall.
Escobar hit a double knee and went for a Phantom Driver, but Ford slipped free and dropped him, then tagged Dawkins in but Escobar hit a knee and Rey tagged in and he hit a DDT after countering a slam by Dawkins.
Dawkins caught Rey’s 619 attempt with a Sky High for a near pinfall Escobar broke up.
While Dawkins had the ref tied up, Lashley hit a Yurinagi on Rey on the apron, but Rey rolled through Dawkins’ next attempt to roll him up.
After the match, a disgusted Lashley walked away from them and up the ramp.
