WWE Smackdown Results returned as Escobar was introduced and the match was announced.
They traded holds early on and Escobar locked in a rear waist lock and held on after Rey tried to break it, and Escobar went with a body scissors and rolled Rey over for a pin attempt.
Escobar fought off a head scissors on the apron and hit a step up kick and then a cross body over the top rope to the floor.
Rey turned it around and hit a crossbody off the apron, and he threw Escobar into the ring and headed to the top rope to hit a seated senton and a crossbody off the ropes but Rey knocked the wind out of himself.
This is one of the most difficult matches of their careers. 😮💨

They cut to a clip backstage there Jimmy and Solo continued to attack backstage personnel.
Back in the ring, Rey tripped Escobar into the ropes but Escobar counteres a 619 attempt with a superkick that sent Rey to the floor and he followed with a dive.
Escobar hit a moonsault off the barricade and sent Rey into the ring and hit a standing meterora and a second in the corner before he put Rey on the top rope.
Rey fought him off but ate a step up kick and Escobar hit a hurricanrana. He followed it with a splash over the top rope for a near pinfall.
Escobar hit a tilt the whirl backbreaker and then a torture rack into a backbreaker on his shoulder for another near pinfall.
The Hurt Business is back
Rey fought out of a Phantom Driver on the top rope and hit a hurricanrana and he followed that with a dropkick to set Escobar up, but Escobar caught his 619 attempt, but Rey managed to set him up a second time and he connected with a 619.
Escobar avoided a frog splash and they traded rollup pin attempts.

Rey countered a Phantom Driver into a rollup for the win. This was awesome and is easily the best match of the night.
After the match, the Street Profits attacked them from behind and sent to the floor. Lashley came out smiling at their actions.
Wilde ran out and Lashley caught him with a elbow and threw him into the ring for the Street Profits to feast with a Cash Out while Lashley laughed.
It looks like the Hurt Business is back in business as they were covered in boos as the fans reacted. At least Rey and Escobar were able to finish their match.
