Days of Our Lives is undergoing a major writing team change. After seven years, head writer Ron Carlivati is departing the show.
Days Of Our Lives New Team
Taking the reins are daytime drama veterans Paula Cwikly and Jeanne Marie Ford. Cwikly boasts experience on “As The World Turns,” “Sunset Beach,” and “Young and Restless,” while Ford has been a mainstay at Days of Our Lives since 1992, working her way up from writer’s assistant.
Carlivati, a Daytime Emmy winner, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity, calling it “one of the great joys” of his life.
How Long Will Ron Carlivati Work Air
Fans will still see Carlivati’s work for nearly a year, as pre-written episodes will air until April 2025. The show’s executive producer, Ken Corday, looks forward to “fresh, exciting stories” under the new leadership of Cwikly and Ford.
