‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to kick the week off with some fun spoilery goodies.
Looks like we’re stepping into a brewing Newman civil war early in the week, and it should only get better in the coming days.

Now that he’s got everything Newman under his puppet strings again, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will celebrate by telling Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) it’s his way or the highway.

To be fair, we expect Victor to be gentler then that, but he’ll claim this is best for his company and his legacy for his children, except he won’t let his children do their thing without his say so.
In this case, Victor will once again play favorite with his children instead of refusing Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)’s offer. In doing so, he’ll once again pit Adam and Victoria against each other and tear the family apart.
And he’ll just shrug and blame them for not kissing his ring.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, January 31: Celebration time
With her coup complete, Victoria will look to celebrate. The problem is by emulating Victor so closely, she’s not only going to have an enemy in Adam, but she’s pushing Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) away as well.
Neither are they type to take being passed over and treated like a second fiddle well, especially Ashland given his history and what he did during his career.
The company may be Ashland-Locke, but he’s had little say in a few things and it’s going to start chafing.
If she continues to overlook Ashland, she’ll have two enemies before too long. Or maybe Ashland will look to remove her father’s influence from her life?
If he does, ‘The Young and he Restless’ Spoilers with him the best and advice we can off is ask Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) how well that works.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, January 31: Sharon’s offer some wisdom
We’re not used to saying Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and wisdom in the same sentence, but that’s what’s going to be the case in this segment as she offers some wisdom to Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway).
Abby’s going to be struggling with coming to terms with everything, and she’s going to cross Sharon’s path. At least Sharon won’t placate or enable her like the rest of the people in her life.
We expect Sharon to point out how she’s looking at it all wrong and that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) is doing the right thing to give everyone a chance to heal.
She may even point out he is Dominic’s biological father and has rights, but it’ll be things Abby heard before, but maybe because it’s from Sharon she’ll listen.
