Ring of Honor are entering their 20th Anniversary, despite having a hiatus following Final Battle 2021. They’re set to return to action on April 1st, with Supercard of Honor set. The main event will be Bandido vs. Jonathan Gresham – but this night will also honour the inductees for their new Hall of Fame. We’re getting four names inducted, and the first is a tag team who have been around since day one – The Briscoes.

The Briscoes Have Been Around In Ring Of Honor Since The Era Of Honor Begins

Ever since 2002, The Briscoes have been around in Ring of Honor. On The Era of Honor Begins, Jay Briscoe stepped into the ring with Amazing Red in a losing effort, with his brother Mark in his corner. Mark Briscoe would soon make his debut, facing his brother in singles action.

Their first tag team match in ROH came at ROH Night Of Champions in 2003, and the rest was history. Since that point, Jay Briscoe would become a two time ROH World Champion, and as tag team – The Briscoes claimed twelve reigns as the ROH World Tag Team Champions. They’re the current champions, and are expected to defend at Supercard of Honor.

Three More Inductees To Come

There are still three more names to come for the first round of inductions. ROH will be announcing them on February 7th, 14th & 21st. Special episodes of ROH TV will be coming, with episodes dedicated to some of the best moments of their careers in the company.

Fans are expected Bryan Danielson, Samoa Joe & CM Punk to be the names who will be brought into the Hall of Fame. These are three of the greatest ROH World Champions of all time, with Samoa Joe still having perhaps the best reign in the history of company – coming in at 645 days, with 30 successful defences.

He defeated everyone from Homicide to Togi Makabe to Bryan Danielson. Joe is a free agent currently, while both Punk & Danielson both work for AEW – who are known for allowing talents to show up elsewhere.

Will Danielson, Joe & Punk join The Briscoes in the ROH Hall of Fame? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.

Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
