‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to close out the week with some fun spoilery goodies.
There’s plenty going on in Genoa City, and we’re going to have an interesting character building episode that’s going to have a little of everything, so let’s dive in!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, February 4: Party time!
Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) are moving on from proposing to each other and onto celebrating their engagement.

We expect this to be a big, healthy party with friends and family, followed by a private one we think would be better served for the storyline given an added twist we’ll talk about in the next section.
But any twists aside, this will be a loving and heartfelt scene as everyone will wish them well and Mariah and Tessa will happily absorb every bit of the attention before heading off for their own party.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers were thinking we’d get a private dinner or something along those lines, but they’ve spent a lot of time just the two of them lately so it makes sense.

Of course, a party is another great way to create some angst for a character, and who better than Genoa City’s own super pouter Noah Newman (Rory Gibson)?
Having one’s heart broken once, and then a second time on the rebound can be devastating. And then to coax/nudge the person to celebrate with his former girlfriend and sister is borderline asking for a problem.
But Noah will bear it like a brave little trooper and put his best foot forward. Honestly, this almost feels like they’re making him act like a drug or alcohol addict having to watch his friends still partake.
There’s just something really off with his storyline and it doesn’t help it’s gone way longer than it should and has been milked beyond its giving stage for emotional response.
Maybe going back to London to deal with his problem would be best for him?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, February 4: Battle of the parents
Things were going too smoothly for us to not expect something to come up, and it looks like Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) are going to find themselves challenged as parents.
This could mean anything from them feeling they need to compete with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) to prove they’re as good or better, or they feel they failed as parents by having Dominic spend time with his biological dad.
This is going to be another emotional charged scene between the couple, and it could open up some questions about their future together.
