Monday Night Raw is an hour old at this point, I’m Jordan Huie of the Overtimer giving you the live coverage of the show, reporting every single notable result! And of course that doesn’t just mean matches as pretty much anything can and will happen in WWE. And on tonight’s episode of WWE Raw, we saw Lana and Bobby Lashley come out to celebrate their defeating Rusev in a Tables match.
The segment started off with the usual gloating and self-aggrandizing, but took a bit of a turn when Lana told Bobby Lashley to ask her to marry her, and presented to him a wedding ring with which to present her. Yes, this really happened!

“Bobby Sucks” chant, Lana is mad about that one. She pulls out a wedding ring, says she wants to ask him… to ask her… to marry him! Lashley looks a little uncomfortable at that one. Says he doesn’t like when anyone tells him what to do. Tentative pop. “…Except you!” Lashley gets down on one knee and says she’s the most amazing female wrestler in WWE history, easily the best joke I’ve heard on this show in all of 2019. Asks her to marry him. Lana says this was exactly how she had him rehearse, says yes, she will allow him to marry her! Says this will be the most ravishing wedding in the entire universe and it will happen on Lana Day!
So yep, the natural next step in this angle has occurred. With Rusev seemingly defeated forever (Hint: he is not defeated forever) Lana and Lashley are now to be wed. So we are basically all but guaranteed to get the next in a long line of in-ring weddings sometime in early 2020. That can only go well!
