It’s been a while since WWE fans have heard from, or even seen Triple H. The 14 time world champion has spent the last few years building up the NXT brand – before being forced to take time off in late 2021 due to a heart issue. Deserving Of A Proper Retirement Match
However, this doesn’t mean we’ve seen the final match of Triple H. WWE is a place where truly anything can happen, and this includes the unlikeliest of returns – as shown by Vince McMahon planning to get into the ring with Pat McAfee at Wrestlemania. Currently, Triple H had his final televised match when he faced Randy Orton in Saudi Arabia – which is a fine stopping point.
Fans would still like to see a proper retirement match however, and WWE would be leaving money on the table by not doing so. It’s possible this could come in 2023, giving Triple H one final Wrestlemania match – perhaps even being preceeded by his second Hall of Fame induction. There is even a chance of one more World Championship run in Triple H, given the recent reigns of Goldberg & Brock Lesnar.
