Kody Brown Under Fire Over A Recent Instagram Post
Kody had three functioning marriages when the TLC show first began – Meri, Janelle, and Christine appeared to be living perfectly fine in their single home with their twelve children. While Christine was expecting their thirteenth child, Kody and was courting his fourth wife, Robyn, and he was giving her so much attention, which birthed jealousies from the other wives.
At a point, the big family moved, Meri “cheated” and the women gained independence. Kody and Meri became just friends by the time they moved to Flagstaff. Also, the issues with Christine be some more serious and a pandemic was on the horizon. The way Kody handled it struck a nerve with Janelle so hard that during the Season 16 tell-all, Kody admitted that they were no longer in love.
Since Meri, Janelle, and Christine were now financially independent, they did not need Kody anymore. In fact, no one really knew how Kody made money.
Christine threatened to break up with Kody so much that the intimacy in their marriage disappeared. Kody said that part of the marriage had officially ended so she decided to divorce him. In the end, Janelle and Meri sort of stayed due to their faith and obligation, while Robyn, the last wife, stayed for love.
Kody’s Statement That Got Fans Fuming
Kody Brown took to Instagram to say that he is a “husband to four. I love ’em all.” Fans on Reddit have not taken kindly to that description and they started a thread about it. ““Love ‘em all” sounds like something you would say about your herd of cows,” a user wrote and another person added: “The way it’s written sounds like he’s husband to four of his children…”
Another fan said, “The fact that he felt like he had to state I love ‘em all” says that he doesn’t love them all. It’s like if you got an ugly shirt as a gift and you say, “This is the best shirt ever!” so people don’t know that you really hate it.”
