‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to dive into hump day and close the week off with style and we’ve got the spoilery goodies to prove it.
With the rest of the week’s episode being preempted for NCAA Basketball, we’re going to have to wait a while to see what’s happening next in Genoa City.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, March 16: Victor gets more ammunition
Since Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)’s entire case against Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) is circumstantial at best, he’s going to want more.
And since he didn’t have the foresight to investigate things on the medical end or stand up the first two times Ashland lied, he’s going to be desperate to get anything he can.
It doesn’t matter what he’s handed, as he’ll tout it as absolute proof and since he’s never wrong it’s only a matter of time before Ashland’s ousted.
On the plus side, we’re curious if Ashland actually had that heart attack or if it was a test and a door to a greater plan. Hopefully that’ll come out at some point. We’re leaning toward him testing Victor and being part of the grander plan.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, March 16: Elena’s helpful advice
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) is at a crossroads as he’s going to struggle with whether he should out Ashland to Victor and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) or stay silent and cave to Ashland.
It’s going to be tough for him to choose despite him being an honest and good man, but he’s going to have some help in making his judgement call.
Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpi) will be there to offer him some sound advice and be a listening post for him to work through things.
But even so, the choice is going to eat at Nate and it’ll make this a must watch scene.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, March 16: Lauren gets bad news
Not satisfied with Victor’s answers (would anyone be?), Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) started her own digging into Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc)’s disappearance and she’s going to get some troubling news.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers mentioned a few days ago that it’s possible Michael could be killed off or abducted, but there’s another possibility. What if he was simply arrested?
He’s a foreigner digging around the clinic and getting doctors to turn, so it’s not too out there that Ashland’s contact had him arrested.
Between that and anything can happen behind bars, Lauren would hold Victor accountable and things could turn sour for the Moustache if this is the case.
Of course, he’d take this as proof and talk Lauren down because the writers won’t have it any other way, but it should prove an interesting exchange.
