Kanye West has been banned from Instagram, as a result of his apparent racial slur towards Trevor Noah.
Kanye West Has Been Banned From Instagram Following His Racial Slur Against Trevor Noah
This news has been a long time coming, especially given the manner that the rapper has been acting. Not only has he continued to attack comedian Pete Davidson, he also made some comments towards Trevor Noah that were deemed to be racially insensitive.
This was simply due to the fact that Trevor happened to call out Kanye over his bad treatment of Kim Kardashian. That did not make Kanye feel very comfortable, which is why he responded by posting the following message.
In a post on his Instagram, he had replaced the word Kumbaya with the following: “All in together now… K–n baya my lord k–n baya K–n baya my lord K–n baya Oooo’ lord K–n baya.”
As a result, Kanye was found to be in violation of Instagram guidelines. This means that he is no longer allowed to post, comment or even send messages on the platform for 24-hours.
Not only that, but if Kanye continues to violate the guidelines, there is a serious possibility that Instagram will take additional measures.
Outside of anything else, there is always the possibility that his account could be taken off the platform permanently. The response on social media was that this decision was fully justified.
A significant majority of people thought that Kanye had nobody to blame but himself. In addition, a certain subset of people even found that these measures were not enough.
They were of the view that the ban had to be permanent, so that Kanye could no longer be allowed to endanger the mental health of others.
One person wrote: “Permanent ban is the only solution,” while another person stated: “The fool keeps forgetting she’s a pending EX-wife.” It will be fascinating to see how Kanye responds to this.
But given what his prior track record has shown, this move is unlikely to deter him from continuing to speak his mind. With that being said, this is not the last that we have heard from Kanye West. Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
