Over the past weekend, it has been revealed what the most liked YouTube video by the WWE is for the past 12 months, and it may come as a shock to some people. Last week, we reported the most disliked video was Charlotte Flair being injected in the place of Becky Lynch at WrestleMania.
Some of the same videos happen to make both lists, but there was no question about the video that ranked at number one in the chart.
1. Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns Say Goodbye To Dean Ambrose (374,000 Likes)
The departure of Dean Ambrose from the WWE wasn’t a well-kept secret at all. The entire WWE Universe knew that Ambrose would be leaving following his final appearance on Raw back in April. Ambrose was given his farewell, but only after cameras had been turned off. Rollins and Reigns came to the ring to wish him well, before doing the signature fist-pump in the middle of the ring for one final time.
2. Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman Arm Wrestle (290,000 Likes)
This was one of the videos that managed to secure a place in both lists, but the fact that it is so high up for likes is mind-boggling. It was one of the worst segments of the year and accumulated 23,000 dislikes to make the fourth spot on that list. It was still not very good, and I hope never to see this segment again.
3. The Undertaker Helps Roman Reigns (274,000 Likes)
The Undertaker appears very sporadically on weekly television, so when he was on hand to save Roman Reigns from a beating on a June episode of Raw, it was always going to be a hit on the social channels. Taker came out to help Reigns as Drew McIntyre and Shane McMahon were beating down the Big Dog in a handicap match. A tag match was then set for Extreme Rules, which the dream team were able to win.
4. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins Save Dean Ambrose (254,000 Likes)
Dean Ambrose makes that top five of the most liked videos twice. This video came as his Shield buddies saved him from a beat down. Fans were eventually treated to one final reunion for the faction before Ambrose moved across to AEW. Fans clearly miss the superstar in WWE, and that’s why he ranks so highly on the liked videos.
5. Roman Reigns Storms Into Shane McMahon’s Room (220,000 Likes)
Roman Reigns is featured on four of the five videos in the top five, although this was a feud that seemed to drag on for far too long. The video took place in June, as Reigns stormed into McMahon’s private VIP room to lay waste to The Revival, McIntyre and Shane O’Mac himself.
