Kim Kardashian has hinted that fashion certainly does run in the family when she revealed that her daughter North West had her own sense of style.
Kim Kardashian Admits Her Daughter North Is Very Opinionated About Fashion-‘She’ll Always Complain’
This is hardly a surprise given that North’s mother and father Kanye West are some of the biggest fashion icons in the world. Kim, for her part, is a successful businesswoman having set up her ‘Skims’ brand.
Meanwhile, Kanye has achieved equal success in his own right which can be seen through his Yeezy brand. And by having parents with a net worth in the billions, it is not surprising then that North does have her own opinion on clothing.
So much so that she may even advise her mother on whether she thinks something is appropriate or not. In a statement at the Vogue’s Forces of Fashion conference, Kim said: “She’ll always complain when I’m wearing too much black.
“I showed up at her school on Valentine’s Day wearing head-to-toe pink, and she got so excited she ran over and hugged me. [Of course] she opened my coat, saw the black lining, and says, ‘Mom, you’re still wearing black.’”
But it is not just Kim that North is concerned about. When it comes to clothing, she also has her own sense of style. Kim expanded on how her daughter has a love for ‘gothic’ style clothing with a preference for having fake tattoos.
Just when you thought that was enough, Kim also stated that North likes to turn up to school in her own vehicle, so that she can have her choice of music in the car. Despite having that individuality, it has not always worked out well.
Her father Kanye has expressed his dissatisfaction about North being on TikTok without his consent. And this all came to a head when Kanye lashed out at the fact that North was allowed to sing and dress in a manner that he did not like.
